I always pictured James and Snape singing something like,

I don't know, really. I may have been refering to whoever began the post or... someone random. Can't remember I'm afraid!
Also- I'm in SG now and none of the people who are doing it with me think that HP has anything to do with it. Sheer coincidence and people reading too much into it in their opinion.

This is actually how my friend got me into the song She was like "It's such a SNAPE song!"
That won me over pretty quickly.
Really, it does make you wonder, although I doubt there is any connection.
