 Sophie's father Did I miss something or do we in fact not find out who Sophie's dad is?

Don't read this if you haven't seen the show.
At the end of the show Sophie says that they can find out who the father is (I suppose by DNA testing) but she'll just leave it be. So it is left as an unanswered question. But you'd think that in real life she'd have some physical traits of the real father but obviously when casting family members, not a great deal of effort is made to ensure the "children" resemble the "parents".

i think it's better that way though. because each of the 'possible dads' really seem to care for her by the end of the show. it would be kind of sad for her to have to turn away the other two...

it looks like bill is her father because of the whole story about 'aunt sophia'.and sophie is quite similar to sophia. she was most likely named after her grandmother.

Yes but Donna doesn't know who the father is either. Sophia left money for only family members but how would Sophia know for sure Sophie was her grandniece? Maybe Sophia thought she was but maybe not.

Hmm you have a point here. I also thought it was Bill. But you're right. Donna didn't know either. Or did she? Because what would have been the point of bringing the three men to the island if they wouldn't be sure of the outcome unless a DNA test was done? Perhaps Sophie thought that if she could see who they were, that she would know... But still...

Possible hint?
When it opened in Toronto, Bjorn was interviewed by the Ottawa Sun and he was asked about certain songs in the show.
He talked a great length about "Knowing Me, Knowing You" how they wrote it in ABBA and such.
But THEN, he said...
"In the show, 'Knowing Me, Knowing You' is the father talking about divorce."
I don't know, maybe he was hinting that whoever (Harry?) sings that song, was once married to Donna and/or had Sophia then left.

There's no hint in this. Sam sings "Knowing Me, Knowing You", talking about his divorce from his own wife, the mother of his two boys.

I don't think you find out either..but I agree that it would be hard for Sophie to turn away the other two..they are all very endearing..I love Sam though..Donna..is so in love with him
