Hello everybody...

I just saw that Lyon's Opera House announced their 2012-2013 season.
I was very surprised and happy to see "The king and I" Rodgers & Hammerstein in it !
Musicals are not very common in France, and more than rare in opera houses... (even operettas are rare in opera houses in France...)

But my enthousiasm was quite over when i saw "Approximated running time : 1 hour"
I guess they cut many scenes to make it easier for kids to sse it (as if kids could'nt handle a 2 hour show...)

So I wondered : how long is is the show supposed to last ?

King and i usually runs between 2.15 and 2.30 hours with an intermission.

So they made a mistake on the program, or they massively cut it... I can't believe...
