Has this show ever been put on by a cast of REAL orphans?
Dear "Annie" Fans,
Has a REAL orphan home ever put together a stage presentation of "Annie"? I realize that the mere prospect of casting REAL orphans as orphans might be ironically sad, but I'm still curious to know if the staff, and the residents, of any orphanage have ever put on a production of "Annie".

I would think not. It would most likely be upsetting for children in foster care/orphanage to put on. If it counts, my bother was adopted from Eastern Europe. He was cast in a summer production of "Annie" when he was younger and hated it.
