Narrowing down song selection for Oklahoma! audition
I have an audition for Oklahoma! coming up and the director already knows I can easily sing the range required for Laurey. I want to show off my mezzo range so I can also be considered for Ado Annie.
I can only sing 16 bars, so if anyone has any reason why any of the songs listed above would or wouldn't work I would greatly appreciate the advice.
Thanks!

I like Wonderful Guy because the character has the same bubbly enthusiasm that Ado Annie needs.

Re: Narrowing down song selection for Oklahoma! audition
Thanks, Set_Buildin_Dad. I really appreciated your feedback and I did like the idea of using Nellie's song, but after running through it a few times the 'I'm in love' portion was just too repetitive and I think I would have been bored singing it, which I didn't want to have happen in an audition.
After reviewing all of the songs more carefully I ended up choosing 'I Enjoy Being a Girl,' for a few reasons. I was more familiar with it, I was able to show some personality (I made sure it was bubbly), and once I changed the last two notes I felt that it showed more of my upper belt ranger. I guess it worked out since I landed the role of Ado Annie!
Thanks again!
