 Sweeney Todd 2012 Cast Recording Has anyone heard this one yet? If the samples are to go by, it sounds like a disaster.

Re: Sweeney Todd 2012 Cast Recording I don't see anything wrong with Staunton's vocal performance on the recording. She handles the score just fine and brings a real sense of the character.
I'm never going to complain about another recording of this glorious music, to be honest.

Re: Sweeney Todd 2012 Cast Recording I have just been listening to this recording only this morning and I enjoyed it. I do not feel the need to compare this recording to the others out there....but having seen this cast both at Chichester and now The Adelphi I am glad to have it as a reminder of what was a thrilling theatre experience.
