Re: What did you GET this year? Well I actually got a fever for Christmas this year. Aw yeah. Merry Christmas, indeed.
Regarding gifts, I literally didn't ask for anything this year, and it shows, LMAO.
-Three boxes of coffee
-Some clothes
-Chocolate
-$95(!!?!) worth in iTunes gift cards
-A jar of Nutella
-More coffee
-New sleepwear
-An Italy tour guide book (I'm going over Spring break)
-$100 for Italy
I got two early Christmas presents over Thanksgiving in the form of the 2011 Follies recording and "Look, I Made a Hat" and I've already sucked oodles of cash from my parents for Thescon and Italy, so I'm pretty content.
I've had better Christmases though, LMAO.
Also, DAMN, Sarah, you cleaned up!

-slip covers for my couch and love seat
-a crock pot
-two scarves (red and purple)
-a blender
-a smoothie cook book
From Dad's side of the family:
-a black coat that I have to trade (wrong size)
-gloves that I'm going to trade (not my style)
-a jacket that I'm going to trade (I already have a black jacket)
-a Wii game that I'm going to trade (for one that I will actually play)
-a tote bag (that I can't trade, but won't use)
-a coffee maker that I'm going to return (I don't drink coffee)
-a coffee mug
-a bottle of Pink perfume (Sweet & Flirty)
-a manicure kit (for the nails that I bite off?)
-3 pairs of neon socks
-a mini Julie (American Girl) doll that my grandma insisted I told her I just had to have (I have no recollection of returning to my days of desiring American Girl dolls for Christmas)
From my parents:
-a Wii
-Sims 3 Pets
-black boots
-a travel coffee cup (that I'll use for hot chocolate)
-a red scarf
-Zumba Fitness 2 for the Wii

Re: What did you GET this year? I was given lovely things, but far more valuable than that, I got the company of my daughters and their Christmas houseguests for the day. They brought a wonderful dessert, a lot of fun and laughter, and we had the satisfaction of sharing a superb roast dinner, and the affirmation that our family is only slightly batty, but daft, delightful, and loving.
I got that 'warm-fluffy-towel-hug' feeling of being loved.
