I thought it might be fun to have a place to share videos of productions of Jesus Christ Superstar. To start us off, here's the Tony Awards performance:
It would be great if the video was of a better quality. It's a pity this was not on those DVDs that collected the Tony Awards performances and an even greater pity that it is unlikely that we will ever get another set like that.

I love this production starring Drew Sarich as Judas. Pretty much the whole show is on YouTube. Sarich is by far the best actor, but there's some great moments other than his songs. The guy playing Herod is hilarious.

The Stratford Festival FINALLY got their promo videos up:
I personally think it looks pretty cool. Josh Young's Judas kicks but vocally at least. I'm very hopeful about this

I saw the third preview of JCS at Stratford a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. Josh Young was very good and I thought 'Superstar' was his weakest song, vocally and acting-wise... he seemed a bit lost having to strut around like a song-and-dance man, to be honest. Hopefully they'll post more clips from the show.
