Happy new year Mdn! Hopefully I'll be on more this year. Vocal Perf is killing me (and my vocal chords) slowly.

Prayers to all of you who need them <3

Thank you to RainbowJude and Brother...S. for their suggestions of Joan of Arc musicals in the last Random thread. I enjoyed the music for the Montreal version, very Massenet-like. Not sure I cared for Joan belting her number. I think I prefer to think of Joan of Arc as more girl, and less butch.

On New Year's Day, I went to the local mall to perhaps see a movie, which I almost never do. My choices were Harry Potter, Tangled, Black Swan, and Dawn Treader all of which I wanted to see. I couldn't decide, so I ended up just going home.

Pretty Little Liars marathon today. I don't really think very highly of the show, and yet I can't help but watch...

Just found out today (torturing myself by looking up the website to begin with) that my old community theater in MN is doing ITW this year. They already had auditions, even though it doesn't start til July. My old community theater in Missouri just did the show last year. Why can't I seem to live in the right place at the right time??? I'll be too old for any good parts before I get to do the show. Hmph.

Don't you just love the adernaline (I can't spell) rush you get get after a audition! I just came home from school after auditioning for Bye Bye Birdie. I sang Shy and did a Monologue about crazy glueing my hand to my cheek. It seemed to go over very well. Everyone was smiling. Which they tend not to do in auditions. I always go crazy doubting my self before an audition, and don't have the best self esteem. So it just feels good to feel like I did well.

Sorry just had to work off some of my excitement. Now off to Jazz Choir!

Well, the last of my grades for last semester went up. All A's.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat, Nudel. From the pictures you posted, he seemed adorable.

My sister's coming home tonight! Her white blood cell count is finally in a more normal range and they've found some pain meds that work for her. She's feeling much better, praise God. Now I'm just hoping she doesn't get a dry socket to compound the nastiness. Thanks for the prayers!

I leave for the airport in a hour. Time to pack up laptop. Le sigh. My life is condensed to a suitcase, a laptop & a handbag :) Feels kinda good, actually!

Black Sawn was the scariest movie I have ever seen in my 20 years of life.
