Are there any musicals based on the story of Joan of Arc?

There is a 1995 Canadian musical called Jeanne with book and lyrics by Vincent de Tourdonnet and music by Peter Sipos. Clips can be seen/heard here and here.

Adding to the list is The Survival of St. Joan, a rock opera by prog-rock band Smoke Rise, written in 1971. In its initial Off-Broadway run, Stephen Schwartz (just prior to accepting an assignment on a religious piece called Godspell) served as the musical director and contributed a song (that went unused) when it was decided to expand the album for the stage.

So on the last day of the year life is really attempting to find my breaking point...I fear I'm dangerously close.

Was definitely the best of the series... although you can't really beat lines like, [choppy, bad voice acting] "You almost became a Jill sandwich!" :)

Aw, sending you hugs and prayers, Patch!

I think my New Year's resolution is going to be to stop worrying and concerning myself with people who can't bother to keep in touch or be a decent friend. I'm really tired of wasting my time and energy on so called 'friends' who don't appreciate me in the slightest..

I learned last week that the word "sushi" in Japan only refers to rolls - those wrapped with rice and seaweed. If you want the fish on top of the rice, that's called nigiri. And if you want just the fish, it's called sashimi. In Taiwan, people actually make this distinction, but back in the US, I just call everything sushi.

Speaking of Taiwan, they rang in the new year with a bunch of fireworks. It was extra festive this year since it's the 100th anniversary of the nation's founding. And I'll be flying back to LA today. Hopefully I won't miss too much of the Rose Bowl game when I get back.

Really? I've always made the distinction. I actually prefer sashimi to sushi. But it's all delicious.
