 LSOH audition So, I was checking the website I usually check for auditions, and lo and behold, there's an announcement for auditions for "Little Shop of Horrors," starting November 29.
Obviously, I'm aiming for the plant (Orin has already been cast).
Does anyone have song suggestions?

I have all the "Singer's Musical Theatre Anthology" books (the bass/baritone volumes, obviously, minus the teen edition, which I don't care about because it only has about three songs I don't already have). Does anyone have any song suggestions?

Re: LSOH audition Not immensely helpful, but with the style of the show and the type of character you're going for - If you can find some sheet music for a well-known male soul/disco song, that'd work. I'm thinking something like Al Green or Barry White; it'd be clever for the role.

Re: LSOH audition When I got Audrey II, I auditioned with "My Friends" from Sweeney Todd. Yeah, it's Sondheim, but it's not hard Sondheim -- and it allows for enough vocal power to show off good strength and control.
