 Any tips? The high school I goto is thinking of doing Sound of Music, (They haven't decided yet) and I have every intention of trying out for Liesl. I'm a first soprano, and wondering if any of you have tips for an aspiring actress?

Re: All Liesl's report here! Auditioning for Leisl in 3 days. I am planning to sing 16 bars of "Someone To Watch Over Me." I chose this because I haven't been keeping in top shape vocally, and I have sung this before for auditions. Do you think that is a good song to sing, or should I try to prepare another?

Re: All Liesl's report here! auditioning for Liesl (again) soon! wanted to post here for good luck. Im excited to explore the character agai- been called back twice professionally eeek...the first time sang with the children and the next time worked with Rolf..so I hope third time is the charm! I've been playing her really sweet but am looking to be more young and innocent this time. Top choices for song is "wonderful guy" hoping you fellow liesl's can wish me luck
