Here's my first stab at my college audition choices: "You Are Never Away," from 'Allegro' and "No Moon," from Titanic. I'm much more poorly versed in monologues, but I'm thinkin' the ocean monologue from "Ah, Wilderness" but I have a feeling it's grossly overdone. Is it?
Whadda y'all think?

'Don't Stop Believing' just started playing in the nail salon I'm at.
I wanted to do a light blue on my toes, but they don't have a shade I like, so I'm getting a peach-y coral.
Still waiting to hear if they want me to audition for Urinetown. I'm hoping I at least get an audition appointment.

I'm getting sick and tired of people not getting back to me. I emailed 3 volunteer organizations over 2 weeks ago and have not gotten so much as a 'we'll put you on the list' notification, I emailed a headshot photographer 3 days ago with the hopes of getting them done next week (so not happening now), and most of all I am disappointed at my old college not getting back to me after two weeks. My life is basically on hold until I know whether or not I can go back in January. It is hard to stay productive when nothing ever happens to show for it.

I've just created a cocktail... I need a name for it. We have cranberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, vodka and lime served in a martini glass. Any ideas?

Wow was it time for a new one already? Dang. Anyway, once again I prove unmotivated when it comes to summer reading even when the current topic of the 1st book (civil rights movement) is vaguely interesting.

So, next weekend, I have a choice of getting together with friends to watch an opera (pre-recorded), seeing a friend in a play being put on at a high school, or seeing Avenue Q.
