 My Fair Lady vs. Camelot
Discuss. Which of these do you prefer and why?

Impossible for me to choose. both are two of my top 5 favorites. my fair lady is technically the better written show over all but camelot's pure emotiuonal drive and passion are brilliant.

I'd say Camelot. I like Loewe's music better, and I just find it to be more dramatically engaging.

Camelot, but only with a superior actor playing King Arthur.

Re: My Fair Lady vs. Camelot
I think My Fair Lady wins but more for the story and wit and the lyrics than the music, in terms of music they are neck and neck for me. Camelot has a lovely score and it's a shame it seems to be pretty underrated generally. Is there no Camelot subforum here because it's not current or recently been performed?

There used to be a Camelot forum, but it was closed several years ago.
