While I love Ellen and consider her the quinessential Audrey, Kerry's my favorite (vocally at least). I haven't heard enough of Sheridan yet, but she sounds pretty good too.

Ellen Greene is wonderful as Audrey, but I think Sheridan brings that something extra to the role, which in my opinion, makes her the best

Ellen. I hate when people try to "put a spin" Audrey. I think Ellen's interpretation should be written in stone as the be all, end all way to play the character.

Ellen was the best Audrey. Unfortunately, I do believe that a few of the others sang the role better than her, but I think she formed the mold for Audrey. The problem now is when you play her just like Ellen, you're a copy cat, and if you try to play her differently, it's like you're trying to hard to NOT be Ellen. The role is a catch-22.
