I love Elena Roger, can't wait. I hope when this does come to Broadway they make a full cast recording of it, instead of a highlights album like they did when it was playing in London

I'm off to see EVITA in Stratford tomorrow!! I can't wait!
I must wonder, though... why has it taken so long to get the revival on Broadway? It was in London four years ago. I thought it would have come over in 2007 or 2008.
I think Martin will make an interesting Che... if he's cast. Love Elena's Eva. I think she's like Covington's version.

Ricky Martin is now confirmed as Che.
I honestly thought it was a joke not because I don't think he'd do a good job but I just didn't think he'd be interested.

I think Ricky has the potencial but I don't know if he can pull off 8 shows a week...
I don't specially like Elena Roger, I saw her in concert and wasn't my favorite night, but I heard pretty good reviews of her Eva...
I'm intrested in what Patti and Mandy have to say about this...

2012 EVITA Revival Surely he must have done when he was in Les Misérables? Anyway, rehearsals for what is now the 2012 revival of Evita will start in February with previews starting in March and opening night in April. Michael Grandage and Rob Ashford will recreate their London staging of the show. I wonder who else will be in the cast. And I wonder if Ashford will revise his choreography so that we get character and storytelling in the dance rather than just gymnastics and geometric patterns...
