Oh yes. She must be apart of Alexi's track. Do forgive me if I'm wrong, it's fairly late on the East Coast. I do believe I am right, though. Thanks for pointing that out.

Usually how big is the ensemble. I recently saw a production where there seemed to be a fairly large ensemble. I only ask because I'm planning to auditon for a community theater production in the spring and I doubt I'll be cast in a lead. I'm a white girl who can't belt well, so I'm out for leads. But I feel like it would still be a great experience to even be in the ensemble of the show.

So, large ensemble: general trend or one-time fluke?

^ I'd say it's neither. It's just going to vary from production to production. I'm inclined to say that the tendency will be toward smaller ensembles, as the original production had. To me it makes more sense given the practical aspects of the show to have fewer individuals in the cast. It's an ensemble show, to be sure, but it still needs to be tight. (Les Mis is a similar show. It's not actually got as many folks in it as one would initially expect, but it suggests a multitude).

But it's really hard to predict; there are too many variables, such as

- The policy of the theatre
- The size of the stage
- The vision of the director(s)
- the available talent and voice spread
