Post Ideas for Mrs. Luce
I got called back for Mrs. Luce. My school is casting a girl. Any ideas for how to stand out? I know it is usually done in drag. I can do accents--should it be sort of a lock-jaw "dahling" kind of thing? TIA for any ideas!

The arch, lock-jawed "dahling" voice is most common- mainly because that is supposedly how Mrs. Luce actually talked.

She is the only non-fictional character to appear in Little Shop. Clair Booth Luce was the wife of the editor of TIME Magazine for a long time, and a recognized society icon.
