So, I was planning to fly to Italia to see the show, but if the costumes shown in the preview are the real ones... I really won't ! There are videos on youtube, here is the link to one of them :

In this video, the guy is surrounded by Bombalurina & Demeter :

Planet of the Ape...cat...things...

Odd that they list Growltiger and Griddlebone, yet on the site their song list left of Last Stand. It didn't have Pekes and Pollicles either.

Prosthetics and pompoms??? umm... no thankyou. I'm not seeing much of the Jellicle Cats in those costumes.

Jennytuttapois? Use a good advice and never translate names... We have one or two of thoose kinds of creativity here in sweden to and its only tends to confuse youre audience when youre taking youre own names internationally.

A good writer never translates names. 8)

The masks is qute (Cats meet star trek kinda feeling) but the rest of the costumes break off to much off that style to make me feel confortable. But I guess the costumes looks better on stage than in full daylight..

Id love to see the way the actors and dancers do theyre part while off the script so to say. I guess its part of knowing youre caracter thing but this kind of acting always makes me gaspering and woundering how much thats choreografi and how much that the actor create here and now...

Hm that building look familiar... I think Ive been there, or at least outside it...

That video is very cool, though. You know, Rome is one of the top three cities in the WORLD with most cats (I think Barcelona is no. 1). Anyone who's visited ancient sites in Rome knows how cats tend to lie/sit/stand at the most random places. There's even an own post card/calendar line (Cats in Rome) dedicated to this. :D
