Hey MdN. I just stopped in to pay respects to Robin after Koza let me know what happened via Facebook. I thought I'd give those of you who remember me a brief update to let you know I'm doing swell. I can't say too much because my keyboard is borked and my head hurts from too much work, but here are the major points:
-currently working as a cashier/customer service person at Staples Business Depot. It's not great, but hell, it's a job.
-rejected from both acting and directing at my school. I'm now going to try to get a minor in religious studies and attempt to graduate with a generalist in theatre, maybe focussing on the theory of acting as best as I can.
-Been with a new boyfriend for five months now, and he is wonderful. No more love drama here. He's pretty much all the good bits about the typical nice guy, but with added quirks and twisted humour to make him interesting. He likes moustaches and beards, and hopes to become a drama/history teacher at the high school level. We do fun stuff like fly kites, ride ferris wheels, picnic in parks, and watch movies. No big deal or anything, but he's taught me that love can be joyful and beneficial to life instead of a soul-sucking, heartbreaking experience like the one I had in first year.
-going to start singing again in a couple of weeks as a chorus member in a local concert version of The Mikado, which makes me very excited
-Super super stoked to be seeing Band of Horses in concert in a week and a half

I still have occasional struggles with my bipolar, especially mild depression, but I'm generally feeling pretty happy and actively trying to stay healthy.

FLYING KITES IS SO MUCH FUN!

OMG I saw an awesome kite the other day!! It was a giant jelly fish, just floating in the air above my uni.. Amazing..

I missed you! (But in truth, I've only been back for a few weeks). I'm glad to hear that all is well in your life. Which branch of Religion are you getting your minor in? I have my major in Comparative Religious Studies and minor in music. It's a good time.
