Song Discussion: "Suppertime (LSoH)"
This is probably my favorite song in the show, and it's a pretty tough decision. I think it's The Plant's best song because unlike "Feed Me", it's the only time that Seymour is directly affected by something The Plant says. I also think musically, it's much more satisfying than "Feed Me", particularly the last line. I've seen many a production where the last line is not sung forcefully. If it's not sung forcefully, than Seymour has no reason to be affected by it. Thoughts?

It's better in the musical than in the film, because the death of Mushnik means more after he's adopted Seymour. But,yeah, it's definately one of my favourites
