 German Lyrics
Does anyone have the lyrics of the Vienna version of German? I only have the Hamburg ones.
The only Vienna ones I can work out is the Misto chorus
Abra-kadabra
Welsch ein Kater
Der Wunderbare und
Magische Mister Mistoffelees

I have only the Vienna lyrics of the songs that are on the CD, but I have got the full Berlin libretto and this is very similar to the Vienna libretto. I also have the libretto of the Stuttgart version.

OK. The Berlin libretto is the Vienna libretto with some changes which are very good. It's translated by Michael Kunze. This is my favourite translation of the show.

And it means that all cats, what else to threaten the right to (means "Oppress" I think) Like, for example Mungojerrie, Like, for example Griddlebone. For him they are the spiders in the invisible web. This cat has the godfather of the mafia in the Cats!
Macavity, Macavity, a villain with ambition. He is a figment of deceit and corruption. Since he is cheating a lady he steals from a Lord. Soon, the outrage is rumored
but Macavity! Macavity! Macavity! Macavity!
Will the outrage rumored is Macavity's not there.
That's cool.

Berlin lyrics, thrown into Google translator.
With the help of a translator, I can get more accurate translations, but if figured it would suffice, even if the sentences are rather wonky.

Yes, it is. I think Michael Kunze did a very good job.

aaah I see,Mungo....it sounds like that...
but well yeah, it's a good translation, I like the vienna/berlin one the most...hamburg was okay though. I just never liked the stuttgart one. it sounded awful....

Yes, stuttgart was the worst of all. but I also didn't like the Hamburg translation. Michael Kunze said that they used in another translation in Hamburg because they didn't want to pay for using the lyrics by Michael Kunze.
