Current Obsession: CATS the Musical!

 CATS in Italy! Sept. 2009 CATS is set to open as an officially sanctioned production in Italy this coming Sept. 2009! It is the first time that a licensed production will perform the musical in Italian.

Grisabella (Grizabella)
Jellylora (Jellylorum)/Jennytuttapois (Jennyanydots)
Zampalesta (Rumpleteazer)
Bombalaurina (Bombalurina)
Deuteronomio (Old Deuteronomy)
Ram Tam Taggher (Rum Tum Tugger)
Munkostrap (Munkustrap)
Sghemboexpress (Skimbleshanks)/Mangojerry (Mungojerrie)
Casting both Italians and Europeans/Americans in the roles.
Will be sung in Italian, of course!

I think that its sanctioned by Really Useful so it is an "official" production. They probably will make it a replica, I hope!

I'm heading for Rome in mid December. Hoped "Cats" would be in town then, but no. Seems like I missed it with a few weeks only!

What I could see on theyre web page its rather a italian tour than a Rome show. 
ps I am glad that some one has Kristina among their obsessions. Second best musikal ever IMO. ds.

I know, but they are in Rome in almost all of November. I'll miss them by two weeks only! But by the time I arrive in Rome they'll be in southern Italy.
