My sister: This is AMAZING!

My sister: Isn't it awesome?
Dad: (to sister) Of course! (to me) What has happened so far?
Me: Well, the opera is now under new management. Carlotta, the lead singer, is very self-centered and moody and gets mad and leaves. Then Christine-
Dad: (interrupting) Is that the brunette?
Me: Yeah... Then Christine-
Dad: (interrupting) What about the blonde?
Me: Meg? She's Christine's friend. She's another dancer. Madame Giry's, daughter. Anyway, Christine-
Dad: (interrupting) What about the Phantom? And that younger guy? And the fat guy? And-
Me: (interrupting) The Phantom lives in the opera house. The younger guy, Raoul, was Christine's childhood sweetheart. The fat guy is the lead male. ANYWAY, Then Christine-
Dad: *confused look* Never mind, I don't care.

I admit I used to sort of be there myself before I realized that there was no way on Earth that Chrisitne would live in a stinky sewer with a semi-crazy deformed guy.

I think the silliest thing I ever heard about phantom was the "I'm a huge phan!!!!" "Yeah! Like when Erik got Christine through the mirror!!" "I thought the Phantom kidknapped Christine through the mirror!!! =0"
