Ahaha, I'm a former Tzeitel as well :). I loved it, my Motel and I were such good friends (we've lost touch now though). For Miracle of Miracles, I just smiled and giggled a bit, ahah. :D At the lyric "God took a Daniel by the hand, turned him around.." he would grab my hand and spin me around and it was so cute and fun ahah.

Can you tell I miss this show?

I also hated being frozen during Tevye's monologue. I just am not a very still person naturally and Motel would make fun of me for moving around so much..apparently I would make very strange faces at him.

Of course it counts; "Tevye's Dream" is one of the best parts of the whole show!

As for the pronunciation of the name, people who don't put that little "tst" sound at the front drive my one Jewish friend apeshit.

When I was in Fiddler last year, everyone (including Tevye and the girl playing Tzietal) pronounced it "ZY-dull." It made me want to cry.

Ironically, I also play Shandel. Concidence or Conspiracy? I think it's the later...

Yay! I say it right!
