I don't know if anyone's ever actually put any of this up (I apoligize if they have), but this is Hepburn's own version of WIBL, from before she found out she was going to be dubbed. There's also a version of her doing ICHDAN, but it's not as good.

She's surprisingly decent. I mean she's a about as good HBC was in Sweeney, maybe a bit better.

Honestly, I think she could've actually pulled it off doing her own singing.

They have her un-dubbed versions of Wouldn't It Be Loverly and I think Show Me on the Special Edition DVD, and I watched her I Could Have Danced All Night on YouTube. I'm personally glad that they went with Marni Nixon.

Not bad, but her delivery of the words was somewhat clipped. Julie Andrews sang it in a much more flowing style on both OBC and OLC albums - but then again, she had to be taught how to speak Cockney, by a tutor playing "reverse Higgins".

I've got the special edition DVD and don't think she actually sounds bad or anything..... although i love Marni Nixon's voice :)

I think she does a great "wouldn't it be loverly"

But I don't know if she really pulls of the second Eliza.. it doesn't sound right

Here's my clip of her singing "I Could Have Danced All Night" which is not on the DVD:

Her singing wasn't too bad. However, it's a good thing that they rolled in Marni Nixon.

You could barely hear the maids' counterpoint on the second go-around.

The problem is she can't sing or hold the top notes.

"Loverly" is easy enough to fake, but she butchered "I Could Have Danced All Night," as seen here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGIae9NCbdQ

She doesn't seem to have any vibrato whatsoever, which I find odd.
