I thought Gregory Maguire would wait till thier 10 year anniversery on broadway which would be in 2013! Thank goodness that's not true!
Have they announced the cast yet? I'm dieing to know!!!

The chances of that happening are about one in a million. Even if Kerry were up for it, they would never cast an English Elphaba.

I hope they don't cast someone who's been in the stage version.
Other than maybe a cameo... would be cool to see Menzel as "Woman at the Train Station".

Erm, why?
Yeah, I know it'd be made in America and all, and the production started there, but I thought Oz doesn't have an earthly location. No set country = no set nationality in my book. (Well, I mean they'd kinda have to have an English speaking Elphaba, if it was going to be an American film, but its not really fair that all English (Australian? There's a production there right?) should be cast out)
First of all I'd love to have an Elphaba who could pronounce their T's. I know I've aid it before, but arggghhh, "gravity" does NOT have a D in it!

I agree. I just hope they don't cast Idina, not that she isnt good because she is but she has enough fame in Wicked and i think they should give someone else a chance. But that is just my opinion.
