Judy McLane
Just visited the website and was quite surprised to see that Judy McLane was in the film Were the World Mine, a gay-themed musical film that has it's heart in the right place, but which could have been better. Here's the trailer for anyone who is interested:
McLane plays the mother. It's also great to see that while she has a number of great musical theatre roles in her bio - Phyllis in Follies and Eva in Evita among them - she also has an interest in doing original work, including four musicals that I've never heard of before: Johnny Guitar, Sundown, Far From the Madding Crowd and The Man Who Would Be King. I'll definitely have to add those four to my list of shows to check out - hopefully sooner rather than later.
