Mehh..there would be much better choices but if that's all you've booked then you'll probably have fun.

If Carolle Carmello still plays in it, you should see it!

It really is fabulous!
Although, I saw it in Sydney a few years ago, was going to see it on a trip to NYC but changed my mind as i heard nothing but bad things about the BC.
The point is- It's a wonderful show with great numbers (obviously), though I here the BC is a bit...how's your father?

It's a pretty good show.
I got my friend who gags at the mention at anything musical theatre to go see it with me and she ended up loving it.

Well, I'm going to second that statement.
Adie, I'm curious to know what exactly you've heard bad about the BC? Hopefully you'll be able to explain that further...
Really though, I would consider myself a legitimate musical theatre lover. I have an array of different shows that I like. And no, Mamma Mia is not one of my top 5 favorite musicals, but it is still good fun. I think most people would have fun. I would reccomend the show to certain people. Some of my friends think it is great fun... and others are more on the lines like... meh or ugh! It is entertaining though! Enjoy your trip!

It's a great show, even for New Yorkers who've seen it all and just want something fun!

It's an ABBA tribute act with a crap story attached...save yourself pain and sorrow and avoid like the plague!

It's not well-written, deep, or thought-provoking by any means. It's fluffy, fun entertainment. I'll admit, I enjoyed seeing the show. It's great for what it is. It is not, however, a Sweeney or MFL.
You will more than likely have fun though, if that counts for anything!

Its sole purpouse is really just to entertain, however I found that most of the humour was geared towards middle-aged women. Having seen this show when I was 12, I didn't appreciate that too much.
However, there was some humour for younger audiences. I just found it all, along with the excuses they used to add in songs where they did, very stupid. I didn't like this show in the slightest.
