Post "Defying Gravity" sung during "100 Years of Broadway"!
Dear "Wicked" Fans,

I was able to see "100 Years of Broadway", and I absolutely LOVED the song "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked"!

Up to that point, I'd always sort of said, "Yeah, yeah!" when the musical was mentioned, but after I'd heard THAT song, I began to believe that maybe "Wicked" was really up to something good!

My perspective is this: Say what you will about whether Wicked is objectively a well-written, well-structured, artistically brilliant show. I happen to enjoy it and do have visceral reactions to some of the music, such as "Defying Gravity"

Are you guys musical theatre fans? How have you not heard that song before now :?

It's possibly the most well-known Broadway song of the last decade.
