Congratulotions are in order for Wicked, which tomorrow (Tuesday December 15th, 2009) will land on the list as the 20th longest-running Broadway show, flying past Avenue Q and soaring to a gravity-defying 2,535 performances!

And as it slowly rises up through the Top 20, further congratulations must be extended to Wicked for proving that popularity has little direct correlation to quality. Well done, Wicked! Way to go!

Avenue Q's time on Broadway might be over, but when Wicked closes, something tells me it might not find as welcome a home Off-Broadway as Avenue Q did after it closed. When you take away the brash spectacle, whether we're talking about spectacle in a scenic or musical sense, there's not much there there, is there? Certainly not enough to justify the show's considerable flaws...

Well, after listening to the broadway cast cd, I must say that the songs is off very high standard and almost all off them got top score from me.

And I guess its this kind off musicals that people all over the world (including me) loves to see. As some one said, we in the audience loves a good story and this one is about the friendship off two very different womans.

And congratulations is required, may you live now and forever^^

Even though Wicked might not find a 'home' off-broadway (if it ever closes), it is an absolute gold-mine and those producers must be filthy rich. A good business decision :P.

the position of Wicked on the Broadway is worth it. the show has totally made its mark and beat all the other shows in its wake. Avenue Q was also a good one but Wicked also surpassed it. The show never gets old and is as enjoyable as it was the first time.
