Drats, I was there in February. Oh well, guess the moral of this story is not to lie about anything that is checkable. Meh. It just involves a few more lies to cover my butt.
Thanks much for the information, I really appreciate it.

The book could have made a wonderful musical..but in the hands of schwartz it falls apart. the score is lackluster wity the exception of a few songs ("wonderful", "wizard and I" "something bad" and "popular")
the musical style doesnt fit the piece at all.
in the hands of a better composer/lyricist like sondheim or jason robert brown the show could have been amazing.
plus why does anyone ike kristen cheoweth..her voice is grating and her actinf skills range from a to b.

Now my question...I don't get what some peopel hate about it? Could somone explain that to me and in a nice way. I have read the things on this thread on why people don't like it but I still am not completely getting it. So why don't you peopel like it?

Most definitely. Agreed. Didn't think of that 'til you mentioned it, but you are right.
I actually think that Sondheim would be able to do it better because his music usually has that dark quality as in the book. JRB writes beautiful music, but judging on what of his I've heard (The Last Five Years), perhaps not for Wicked.

WICKED wasn't too bad. I liked it. I haven't read the original book, though.

I think Wicked is an amazing show, and have now decided that if I ever get to play Galinda, my life will be complete.
