Re: "Book of Mormon" to open on Broadway
This is wonderful news. I hope he stays with the tour for awhile.

Re: "Book of Mormon" to open on Broadway
Yes, I agree with you. I like the cast recording too. I am happy to know that "Book of Mormon" is open to have a broadway. I am so excited to watch this. I think I have to agree with you about Turn it Off is the best song.

Re: "Book of Mormon" to open on Broadway
I've seen three different Elder McKinleys, and "Turn It Off" has never failed to be the most simultaneously cheery and saddest song I've ever seen performed on Broadway -- mostly due to whatever McKinley is doing in the final 20 or so seconds of the song.

Re: "Book of Mormon" to open on Broadway
Tomorrow will be Josh Gad's last performance as Elder Cunningham, according to Playbill.com.
That...stuns me. I thought even with his TV show it would only require a minimal amount of time away. Glad I could see him perform it though, if what I saw was any indication that Tony should have been his by a clear mile.

And Playbill.com is also reporting Andrew Rannells is leaving on June 10th. Big changes coming for the show.

Re: "Book of Mormon" to open on Broadway
Tickets for the national tour in Los Angeles went on sale yesterday. Some dates are already sold out. Apparently there were lines down the block.

Re: "Book of Mormon" to open on Broadway
I know nothing of this show, but the title sounds intriguing and odd. It might possibly be a success in London - after all, 'Whistle down the Wind' was. (Goes poking around a bit) Ah. Satire. South Park. Avenue Q. Well, if they don't get too heavy on the very Americentric idea of Mormonism, it could have a good run! http://www.thebookofmormonmusical.co.uk/

Re: "Book of Mormon" to open on Broadway
I don't know, do Mormons have much of a presence in the UK? Pardon my ignorance.
