Post Grease Audition (Male)
I have a Grease audition coming up but am having trouble picking out a song suitable for the music style of the show. Also, I'm not trying out for a specific role, so basically any suggestions for a bartitone in an appropriate music style that will get me considered for Ensemble would be appreciated.

Depending on who you're going for, Chad's stuff from All Shook Up is perfect, as we all "It Takes Two" from Hairspray. I've also seen people do some Seymour stuff from Little Shop as well! If you need specifics from All Shook Up, I'll be more than happy to help. Which character are you going for? Kenickie?

Nobody in particular. I'm just looking for something that will get me considered for an Ensemble role, as long as it fits the show's music style.

A good one from All Shook Up to look into is "Teddy Bear". Definitely a good Baritone audition song, shows personality, a bit of range, and it's uptempo and fun. The first 32 seconds would be an awesome cut.

"It Takes Two" and "Teddy Bear" are too high and I couldn't find sheet music for Little Shop, so I'm going with "I Want To Be Seen With You" from FUNNY GIRL.
