 Audition help! - Into the Woods Hi all,
I have an audition for "Into the Woods" coming up and I am planning on auditioning for Rapunzel and Cinderella.
I really need tips for audition songs. They recommend singing a "lyrical, narrative song", any suggestions?
Some ideas I have are:
How Could I Ever Know - The Secret Garden
Goodnight My Someone - The Music Man
Somewhere/I Feel Pretty - West Side Story
Green Finch and Linnet Bird - Sweeney Todd

Re: Audition help! - Into the Woods Much as I love Sweeney, I'd stay away from Green Finch. It's just not terribly melodic, and not a terribly pretty song. My opinion. Of the ones you listed, I Feel Pretty could definitely work for the characters in question.
