Ok, here's the deal (if this has already been discussed, and someone could point me to that thread, that works too). I am having auditions for West Side Story coming up, and I am DYING to play Anita. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for an audition song? I am a mezzo-soprano, which I know is a little high for Anita, so I would like to show that I can reach the notes I would need to, and have that range, while still making a good impression as a mezzo. Does anyone have any suggestions?
