I think it's a little more than 5, more like 6, but I'm a BFA MT student at CCPA (Chicago College of Performing Arts) at Roosevelt University in Chicago, and we have a great program. And it's getting better and better every year. A lot of seriously talented people.
Here are some people in my class and others, if you wanna take a look!

Thanks so so much for starting this thread -- I feel like in general there are probably a lot of college students on here and even just being able to talk about college musical theatre experiences is so useful... it's stressful, amazing and fun all at once.
So yeah, thanks! Sweet info.

 Re: The College Thread
So what's the deal with Indiana University's BFA in MT? Acceptance-wise, I mean. I was under the impression that it was pretty flexible, or that most anyone could get in, but I just read that they only accept 10-12/year. How many audition?

 Re: The College Thread
In the college students arrange annual functions and playing different types programs on the stage like elocution competition, drama, and dance. they have to do lots of preparation for that. here i read your links for some idea about the college thread. i like one thing in your reading is reference and research online for preparation of audition which one is the best way for good performance.

 Re: The College Thread
I'm a High School Junior and I've been researching colleges like crazy.
Right now schools that interest me are: Pacific Lutheran University (safety) Central Washington University (safety) Uarts Penn State Umich BoCo Ball State Roosevelt Ithaca (probably my top choice) CMU Baldwin-Wallace Syracuse CCM (just for fun)
My list changed daily, so who knows where I'll actually apply to next year.

 Re: The College Thread
I remember wanting to go to one of those big musical theater schools so badly....but I'm sticking with community college. I'm planning to finish my generals for a liberal arts education and transfer for my BA in Theater Arts in the Twin Cities. --And I'll be working on a baking certificate as backup.

 Re: The College Thread
I'm not a musical theater major, but I've really enjoyed being a part of the theater program at my school regardless. But I have a friend who is at Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, and she is really enjoying it.

 Re: The College Thread
I need good songs for upcoming college auditions. I am a Caucasian female. I'm looking for one up-tempo and one ballad, as for most college auditions. I would like suggestions for belts and soprano songs! Help please!

 Re: The College Thread
^ What sort of songs are already in your repertoire? Also, I like your username -- it's crazy similar to my actual name haha I did a double take when I first saw it!
