I think A Wonderful Guy. Whereas all the songs would be suitable for the audition- AWG lyric's sort of remind me of Anne of Green Gables.

anything contemporary.
PETER PAN is a classic musical, but the song you choose all depends on the role you’re going for. If you are auditioning for Peter, I highly recommend one of Oliver’s songs from OLIVER. The whole gimmick of PETER PAN is the fact that Peter is played by a girl. So you should try sing an alto song written for a young boy in your audition. But if you’re auditioning for Wendy, you should go for something very smooth and classic. I’d recommend something along the lines of “It Might as Well be Spring” from STATE FAIR or “Many a New Day” from OKLAHOMA.

If you are auditioning for anything don't sing Over The Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz.
Many directors I know, often say they get tired of this song easily. It gets rather boring, after hearing it over and over. If you are auditoning for a musical with many slow songs, you may want to try this.
If you are auditoning for Seussical The Musical or any other funfilled musicals don't sing The Music Man songs, or Pocahontus (spelling?) songs.
They are too slow and my have the directors suggesting you are afraid to go for fast songs, which the show may have many of, and only feel comfortable with with songs that show off their range.

 Re: ...
I think she means, don't sing a ballad if the show you're auditioning for has mainly uptempo songs?
