HALP= need Kurt Weill-esq song by Saturday
They are asking for:
a serious -monologue, 2 mins max, "Brechtian" style and a short song, one verse of a Kurt Weill song (or Mark Blitzstein, URINETOWN, etc)
I'm short on time so I need something I can learn very quickly or pull out of my rep. I don't have any Kurt Weill- I have some Gilbert and Sullivan, Drood, R & H, ALW, ready to go, and I could probably polish up Fantasticks. I'm hoping the" etc" part might cover me- any ideas? I've got a Marat/Sade monologue I can dust off for the Brechtian monologue part, but I'm clueless what to sing...

My favourite Weill piece is "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" from One Touch of Venus, so if you want to delve into some Weill, that may be good for you. Of course there's Threepenny and all that jazz if you want to go more traditional as well.
