Finally saw my first production of My Fair Lady a couple weeks ago. Still prefer Pygmalion, but it's undoubtedly a strong musical (even if it absolutely violates Shaw's writing and entire vision of the story, but that's a discussion for another thread).

not sure how it screws up Shaw's vision.. Lerner kept the relationship platonic..its not a love story, and the final scene where she comes back to Higgins is right from Shaw's screenplay of Pygmalion with Leslie Howard.
