So this is basically...a contest.
Best this, worst that. You're good, you suck. "You're goin' to Hollywood!", you can't sing yourself outta paper bag.
How about "this is my favorite melody/lyric, and this explains why" and "this is my least favorite melody/lyric, and I will tell you why."
That way, all unnecessary provocation is left out because you would have explained a "least fave" doesn't mean "worst."
Focus would be on music and lyric writing, which I'm sure was the intention of this thread, eh?

Yes, please! I really dislike when people claim something to be good or bad without explanation. I am not saying that I never do this myself, because I do, and I hate it, but expressing what we like and dislike rather than what we think is good and bad would be brilliant!
