Re: The Next Sondheim Revival? Assassins is having an actor musician revival in london at the unicorn theatre, this month, not a full on rivival as it's only on for a few days but should be interesting.

Re: The Next Sondheim Revival? I'm surprised that no Sondheim revivals came about this year...with it being such a weak year for revivals, I really thought something would come up. I guess Roundabout had their hands full with Anything Goes.
That being said, the Kennedy Center really has but together an amazing cast for Follies....with a cast like that, I'd be shocked if it didn't make a Broadway transfer.

Re: The Next Sondheim Revival? Is that Assassins revival a transfer of the musician-actor revival we had in Toronto recently?
Incredibly happy that Follies is getting another chance on Broadway. Still sad that they didn't think to use the original ending; you think the world would be ready for a downer ending by now. But with a cast like that, I'm not going to complain. Still egregiously happy that Jayne Houdyshell, aka ridiculously believable Coraline is going to be in it and singing one of the major songs.
