 Sondheim Mezzo-Soprano Songs
What are everyone's favorite Sondheim songs for mezzo-soprano's? I want to add a few Sondheim songs to my repetoire. Was thinking definitly Ladies who Lunch. Anything else definite?

Ladies who Lunch wouldn't go under the Mezzo category. It is without doubt an Alto song, considering I am a tenor and have no problems singing it in the written octave. But songs I believe you should consider would be:
Another Hundred People
You Could Drive a Person Crazy
Children Will Listen
We Do Not Belong Together
Sunday in the Park With George
Not a Day Goes By
Unworthy of Your Love
Every Day a Little Death
And that's all I can think of.

I love 'I Remember" from Evening Primrose and "Anyone can whistle." Not sure about the original key, but there are tons of transposings (sp?)

Thanks everyone! Yeah I know Ladies who Lunch is an Alto song. I happen to have a version in a higher key I like. Thanks for the other suggestions!

My favorites:
Moments In The Woods (Into The Woods)
I Wish I Could Forget You (Passion)
See What It Gets You (Anyone Can Whistle)
Move On (Sunday In The Park with George)
The Miller's Son (A Little Night Music)* ---*some might think this is an alto song, but i think a mezzo could do really well with it.
Every Day A Little Death (A Little Night Music)
More (Dick Tracy The Movie/Putting It Together)
