 What is a great audition song for the cat in the hat? How about Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka, Very Soft Shoes or Easy Street from Annie?

Re: What is a great audition song for the cat in the hat? You've got some good ideas going. I love the notion of using "Pure Imagination". Fantasy is what the Cat is all about, and choosing this song would show that auditors that you're privy to that. If you can perform it well, I say do it.

Well, my school might be doing Seussical next year and if they're allowing a female Cat, I'm planning on auditioning using "Magic to Do" from Pippin. It touches on the same fantasy elements as "Pure Imagination" while also fitting with the Cat's position as emcee of Seussical.
