 Major spam attack today No, there's not one actually typed out here, but running through my mind right now, oh you'd better believe there is one.  I haven't been here that long, but I don't know that I've ever seen a more full-scale spam attack here... or anywhere!

Spam attack Yes, we know. Yes, there's hundreds of new spam posts on other boards. Yes, we're dealing with them as fast as we can (all the spammers have been banned, but there are at least 200 posts per spammer to delete, which we have to do one at a time). Please don't respond to the posts, just create your own new threads and shove them down the page!

I suppose it's an opportunity for fans of particular shows to go rescue their fora by 'bumping' up real posts and just burying the spam. I've spent the past 45 minutes painstakingly deleting posts from a few busy fora, but I haven't got all night to do this. Only one mod has the power to delete a banned spammer's posts in one go, and that ain't me.
