Have you ever thought of any weird ideas for new musicals, and/ or have you ever known of anybody else who thought of any weird ideas for musicals? Do you think that any of these musicals would have even a remote chance of being successful on Broadway?
The following are my weird, silly ideas for musicals, which I thought of just for the fun of it:
* The Facts of Life: The Musical * ALF * Keeping Up With The Kardashians: The Fabulous Musical Saga * The Life and Times of Justin Beiber...LIVE! * Leave It To Beaver: The Musical * The Betty Crocker Musical Cook Book Extravaganza * The Sarah and Bristol Teen Mom Musical Review...Coming to Broadway exactly 9 months from now! * The Best...And The Worst...of Lindsay Lohan: A New Hollywood Musical Drama * Black Swan: The Musical * Of Monostat and Levitra: The Musical for Those Who Never Leave the Bedroom...or the Bar
Thank you in advance for your replies.

Ask Lauren about our David Bowie jukebox musical concept. That is all.

Assuming you mean the vague storyline to the album, not quite, although it does involve the character and the basic concept behind him.
Oh, I suppose I could also mention the concept behind my 'hip-hopera' concept album trilogy: lyricists as superheroes. I'll leave you figure that one out!

Bat Boy is a weird idea for a musical. And they did it. And it's a very good show too!
It's not a musical but I thought Nixon in China was a weird idea.

Female Trouble: The Musi-cal.
It will feature this as an opening number with that exact orchestration and singing quality:
It will be really pretty trashy. Oh, and don't even ask what John Waters meant by "Female Trouble."
There will be a GRAND finale featuring BEEEEAUTIFUL, glorious *~new-ish~* staging! It will be a nod to Waters' masterpiece Pink Flamingos and will be sung by a 'singing' a-hole.
This will be the act one finale, set to music, and lovingly supported by a Sinfonia contraption. I would star as Aunt Ida:
"The world of heterosexual is a sick and boring life."

I wrote two songs for an original musical called "Wind Child" about a girl who lives in a tornado. Sounded like a good idea at the time, but it had too many plot problems that couldn't be figured out.

I'm friends with the librettist and she's both slighty confused/bursting with pride at its recent success.

LOL!!
Hm. I'm suddenly imagining a musical called Flops! It would be either a spoof on good musicals, or a show that took shows that flopped on Broadway and turned them into one long comedy.
