Re: Random Facts Thread part 11 So, the company I work for shorted me on my paycheck almost by half. They won't give me the rest of the money I'm owed until February. Unfortunately, this means that after I register for 2 exams that I absolutely must register for this month and pay my credit card bill, I will have somewhere around $40 left for the month.
My parents have no money to give me, since they support my brothers (neither of whom work), so I think I may have to resort to selling a lot of things- my books (I already sold my text books, so it will have to be my leisure reading next), any non-student teaching appropriate clothes (including my semi-formal dress, which would probably fetch the most cash) and my bracelet and new necklace in order to get new textbooks and pay for travel expenses to go back to school, and to feed myself through vacation, since there is only rarely food at my house.
This also means that I'm pretty much confined to my house for all of vacation too. Which kind of sucks, especially since I won't have anything to read. I'm gonna try to finish the book I'm reading now before I have to sell them.
And now I can't sleep because I'm worried about money, hence the above rant.

Re: Random Facts Thread part 11 So in a bit of frustrating news...I was just offered the role of Oscar in The Odd Couple opposite Richard Moll (Bull from Night Court). I didn't audition for the show, they just called and offered it to me!
However...it's rehearsals/production dates are EXACTLY during the same time as Arcadia so I had to turn it down...I'm incredbily bummed now.

Re: Random Facts Thread part 11 I am finding it really weird that I'm not nervous to go up and do my speech tomorrow. Usually I freak out when I'm about to do something like this. Either I am getting better at doing it or...something weird is going on with me.

Re: Random Facts Thread part 11 I went into work early today to eat lunch with my mom. While there, I managed to pick up some extra hours on Saturday night and a babysitting gig for tomorrow. Yay for extra money!
