Re: Random Facts Thread part 11
Agree with you on the bolded names (I don't watch Big Bang Theory or Fringe). CW (and formerly, the WB) shows (and most supernatural/science fiction shows) always get snubbed, so that's not surprising, but I was really disappointed Community got completely shut out. One of the most original and hilarious comedies on TV right now. I admit, I really did not really feel it when I saw the pilot when it first aired, but I gave it another chance after catching a rerun of Modern Warfare and have been hooked ever since. I was really hoping Joel McHale or Danny Pudi would get nominations as well. Glee will always have a place in my heart, but season 2 is not Emmy-nomination worthy IMO. I think Jane Lynch's spot should have gone to either Heather Morris or Naya Rivera.

So, I am directing my first show right now. Its going great. 2 males dropped the show due to conflicts, so I have to step in a sing a song and a duet...should I feel bad about this, though its the best for the show...?

I don't think you should. The show must go on like they all say. Do what must be done. And in other news......MIDNIGHT IS NOT COMING FAST ENOUGH!!!!!!

Re: Random Facts Thread part 11
I'm sort of waiting for midnight too. Was planning on going with some cast members to see HP7.2, but I haven't heard any news about plans since monday. Sort of just illustrates how alienated I've been feeling from the rest of them. Someone supposedly already bought me a ticket online but now a closer theater has finally decided to offer a midnight show and I wish we could go there. I'm also thinking of bailing because I've always seen the movies with my husband and kind of feel like I should wait til we can both go. (he has to work early tomorrow). We can see a Saturday morning or Sunday evening show.

Lovely. Dr. Horrible opens on Sunday, and I have a sore throat... luckily, it's not as bad as yesterday.

SAME. Although I am so so so so so so excited, I know that when it's over, I'm going to be crying like a baby. It just won't be the same when there isn't a new HP movie coming out every year.....

Re: Random Facts Thread part 11
I felt Jane Lynch deserved her nomination on the strength of the funeral episode alone. Chris Colfer, not as much. I think Ed Westwick is one of the most underrated actors in television but the CW gets absolutely no respect. I also believe Mariska Hargitay's spot could've gone to either Anna Torv or Emilia Clarke. I was very surprised that John Noble didn't get a best supporting actor nom, considering he won the Critics Choice Award for that category a few weeks ago, and his performance is hands-down the best and most nuanced currently on TV. Out of the nominees in that category, I'm hoping Peter Dinklage walks away with it. I really enjoyed Game of Thrones this past year, and Dinklage was an absolute delight as Tyrion.
