Oh, I am familiar with the original production and am aware that he's a prominent role...it's just that I still don't follow the connection. xD

Hmm. I should probably watch that musical. I'm doing a presentation tomorrow on performing arts in the digital era blah blah blah, and I'm planning on mentioning the people who did that, even though I've watched none of their stuff.

Re: The "Completely Cast a Show" Thread - Part 5
I'm in the mood to revive so...
Kill Me Deadly Since no one knows it I'll give brief character descriptions and such... Set in 1947 Hollywood, this snappy parody of hard-boiled noir comes complete with jaded gumshoe, a dame in distress -- and bodies strewn from Beverly Hills to Mulholland Drive. What could be more fun? When our weathered P.I., Charlie Nickels, meets a rich, hated lady and her 300 karat Bengal diamond (cursed, of course), the mystery ensues.
Charlie Nickels - David (jfmillet) The classic detective who is out to solve the case
Mona Livingston - Lyss The sexy lounge singer who is always suspiciously close to the action and is constantly changing her story
Ida - Grace Charlie's smart and friendly secretary who ends up solving the case
Lady Clairmont - teapot The cold-hearted, "obscenely wealthy", downright cruel owner of the Bengal diamond who mysteriously turns up dead
Veronica Clairmont - Erica The flirtatious heiress to the Clairmont fortune who is seemingly unaffected by her mother and brother's deaths
Clive Clairmont - Shane The somewhat nerdy young heir who spends most of his time at the library or reading
Jaime - Quique The Mexican gardener who is unfairly fired by Lady Clairmont and vows to get revenge Adrian Wilson - SBD The kind old butler who is actually Veronica's father
Louie - Jordan (jman) A dumb and easily amused thug
Henry - Nick (felix) A slightly less dumb thug
Dewey - Patch Jonesy- Jack Two dumb cops who are assigned to the Clairmont murder case
Bugsy - Rorgg A gangster with a big ego (and little reason to have it)
Fists- Dan A criminal hiding out in the hobo camp
Lady Mary - Nudel The insane "queen" of the hobos who is constantly worshipped by her "loyal subjects"
Stella - Tori The hobo who serves as a herald for Lady Mary
Shirley - Jordan (UP) The "muscle" on the Clairmont estate, who serves as a bouncer
Artie Shotts - Quique A street vendor
Laura McAlister - Fiona A woman who wears fingers and eyeballs as necklaces
Librarian - Koza A kind librarian who assists Clive shortly before his death
Hobo 1 - Sarah Hobo 2 - Elliott Hobo 3 - Lauren Hobo 4 - Yakko The insane hobos who worship Lady Mary
Club Patrons Sarah, Elliott, Lauren, Yakko, Tori, Pannic, Quique, Fiona, Dan, Rachel Patrons at the nightclub where Mona sings who are horrified to witness the death of Clive

Hahaha yessss. I always thought that, were I a wizard, I'd be some member of the Black family. Preferably Sirius or Andromeda type as opposed to Bellatrix type, but I very much approve of this casting, if not months after the fact.
