Not one of my better performances, but I got an A+, so I guess that's all that matters.

'Ombra mai fu,' by Handel

Lovely, Tori! (If you haven't already, I suggest you check out "V'adoro pupille" from Handel's Giulio Cesare. I think it might suit you :) )

Latest performance for concert prac at uni. I'm singing "Faites-lui mes aveux" from Faust. Point of interest: in the original Gaston Leroux version of The Phantom of the Opera, this (Siebel) is the role that Christine is playing at the start of the novel before her big break. (If you want to skip my, "This is what this aria is about" speech and go straight to the singing, it starts at 1:22.)

Wow! very nice soprano sound you have there!

Here's a MUCH better recording of myself singing 'Ombra mai fu,' by Handel. This was performed at my most recent repertoire class - let me know what you think!

Here's my bandcamp website. I recorded this EP this past winter, gearing up to record a full-length album with a local label this winter!! For those who don't know, I'm a music composition major, and this is my side singer-songwriter thing. Maybe sometime I'll post legitimate musical/opera clips baha.

"Ridente la calma," by Mozart.
[Yes, I'm aware of the lyric flub about half-way through...let's all pretend that didn't happen...]

EDIT: Voice recital!

A new recording where I actually know the words, lol ;)

EDIT: Jury day!

^ Your singing fills me with the most well-intentioned form of envy every time. Very well done.

Here is a video of my boyfriend and I doing a song from the Last Five Years. He's singing and I'm playing. Enjoy!

Ooh I learned this piece last quarter, it'll be in my rep for juries next quarter! Your voice sounds quite pretty with it :) Just watch that your stress falls on the second to last syllable, especially on words like "resti" and whatnot. I think you hold "res-ti" equally; just think of leaning on the "res" part, if that makes sense haha. It will make your Italian sound more authentic.
